- Who the law covers and how it affects what they can do with customer data
- What to watch out for and how to become compliant
Daniel is a member of the Litigation and Privacy & Data Security Working Groups in the Firm’s San Francisco office. Daniel’s litigation practice focuses on high-stakes business litigation, including international contract disputes, employment defense, commercial and residential real estate, and trademark litigation.
Daniel’s litigation accomplishments include securing favorable settlements in multi-million-dollar disputes, including a class action employment action with thousands of members and a lawsuit for over $700 million after the collapse of the solar panel industry.
Daniel’s privacy practice includes advising companies on their duties under the California Consumer Privacy Act and how best to avoid the risk of privacy-related litigation.
Daniel is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).In his free time, Daniel teaches Legal Research and Writing to first-year law students at UC Hastings, his alma mater, as well as working as a volunteer coach and judge for the school’s Moot Court program.Published in
