Daniel is a partner at Wolford Wayne LLP. Daniel and his firm specialize in representing residential tenants in habitability defect and wrongful eviction lawsuits and associated litigation. Daniel has built a reputation as a zealous advocate for tenant’s rights. He has resolved hundreds of cases on behalf of Bay Area tenants and helped his clients recover millions of dollars along the way.
Daniel volunteers as a counselor with the San Francisco Tenants Union, writes a monthly column on tenant’s rights issues for the popular San Francisco-based site Broke-Ass Stuart, and has appeared on 91.7 FM KALW’s “Your Legal Rights” Program. He received the Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service award from the San Francisco Bar Association in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and has presented to numerous legal groups, as well as to the San Francisco Apartment Association, on topics such as AirBnB and short-term rental legislation, tenancy buyouts, and habitability litigation.
Daniel has been named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in each of the past three years (2016 – 2018), an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of attorneys in Northern California. He is among the highest rated attorneys in San Francisco on Yelp, and has a rating of “Superb” (10/10) on Avvo.com.
In his free time Daniel enjoys traveling, cycling and the outdoors. Daniel makes his home in San Francisco’s Sunset neighborhood. He is originally from Seattle, Washington.
